Our Product and Process Development (PPD) procedure for research and development achieves efficiency and quality all the way from concept to customer.

Deli Star’s own Founder and Chairman, Dr. Dan Siegel, is a protein scientist and packaging pioneer. His work on packaging technology has been instrumental in changing the face of the fresh protein industry.

Our chefs and food scientists have also spent decades perfecting Deli Star’s method of sous-vide cooking. Our extensive work allows for consistent, delicious products as well as more positive safety outcomes.

Food Discovery Center (FDC)

Deli Star’s Food Discovery Center, set to open in Spring 2021, will become the heartbeat of our science and innovation efforts. FDC will be the first facility of its kind to have six key elements under one roof, promoting our belief that open innovation, collaboration, and sharing ideas disrupts the food industry for the better. Within the walls of this dynamic, collaborative space, the six areas of focus will be:
